This set of 24 double-sided cards features flashcards on one side – each depicting a familiar household item with the word for what it is. Then flip them over to see an image of that item in the room of a house, along with two new words/items. Each card is one third of a room. Like a puzzle, assemble the 8 rooms to reveal the picture of the big house, learning lots of new words along the way!

Children will first show/develop their knowledge of 24 basic household items depicted on one side of these flashcards. Then turn the double-sided cards over to reveal the item pictured in the room of a house, along with two new items/words to learn. Each card is one third of a room. Have fun reassembling the 8 rooms of the big house and find all the items featured on the flashcards, learning and practising the new words too. Listen to the correct pronunciation of each word on the multimedia app.
You can further enrich the experience by teaching the children the names of each room: “bedroom, wardrobe, kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room, garage, basement”.
