Thibault Lobster - Large
Scuttle back over 180 years with Thibault, an eccentric plush lobster from 1842 Paris. Said to have once belonged to poet Gérard de Nerval, was he poetry in motion?
Thibault is a velvet-red plush lobster inspired by 1800s Paris and stitched with eccentric flair.
He’s based on the real companion of poet Gérard de Nerval, who famously walked a lobster on a blue ribbon through the Palais-Royal gardens, because "Why should a lobster be any more ridiculous than a dog?"
A plush for collectors, conversationalists, and those who appreciate the stranger stories history leaves behind.
