Preserve your precious sleep routine when it’s time to transition.

As soon as your baby starts showing signs of trying to roll, you must transition them to 'arms-free' sleep.

The Swaddle Up™ Transition Suit can help to ease this adjustment, then also serves as a cosy sleep & play suit.

This five-piece garment consists of the sleep suit, two zip-off wings, and two zip-on Self-Soothing™ sleeves with cuffs that can be folded over.

Features:

  • Patented, zip-off 'wings' allow for a gentler transition to arms-free sleep
  • Converts to a cosy sleep/daytime suit, with zip-on sleeves
  • Specially designed shorter zip-on Self-Soothing™ sleeves provide swaddling effect while cuffs are folded over
  • “2-in-1” feet – covered for bedtime, uncovered for playtime
  • Built-in legs & feet allow your child to safely move around their sleep space
  • Grip pads on feet help reduce slipping
  • 1.0 TOG fabric – perfect for moderate climates, all seasons
  • Ideal for room temperatures between 20°C & 24°C
  • Single layer of fabric to reduce risk of overheating
  • Certified ‘hip-healthy’ design allows the recommended flexion for hips & legs
  • Twin zipper for easy nappy changes
  • No loose layers to kick off during sleep & no breakouts
  • Can be used to transition from any type of swaddle
  • Grey colour with stripes
  • Fabric content: 93% Cotton, 7% Elastane
  • Easy care: Gentle machine wash & low tumble dry

How to use:

The Swaddle Up™ Transition Suit helps your baby to gradually adjust to sleeping un-swaddled. Simply follow these steps:

1. Unzip one ‘wing’ – either as baby sleeps or when dressing them – and zip on one Self-Soothing™ sleeve, with the cuffs folded over.

2. Repeat this for a few sleep cycles to help your baby get used to the sensation of sleeping with one arm free.

3. When baby seems well-adjusted, remove the second wing and zip on the second Self-Soothing™ sleeve, with the cuffs folded over.

4. Then uncuff the sleeves as baby sleeps (one at a time, over several sleep cycles) so they get used to having their hands free.

5. Eventually, your baby will be ready to sleep with both arms out, either with the sleeves on and uncuffed, or with the sleeves zipped off in warmer temperatures.

Care Instructions

When to wash:

  • Wash before first use.
  • Wash garment immediately if it becomes soiled in any way (vomit, reflux, or leaky nappy, etc.)
  • Wash immediately after every use if your baby chews, sucks, or drools on the garment (check the neckline & wings/cuff mittens).
  • Otherwise, washing after every couple of sleeps is a good guideline to follow. This is up to a parent’s discretion.

How to wash/dry:

  • Close zipper before washing.
  • Warm & gentle machine wash in wash bag with similar colours. Pull into shape after washing.
  • Tumble dry on low, or line dry in shade. Pull into shape after drying.
  • Warm iron if necessary.
